Childcare for Old Bar Families
Inspired Minds Early Learning Centre warmly welcomes families from Old Bar to our Tuncurry centre at 51 & 53 Manning Street. While we’re a short drive from Old Bar, many families find the journey well worthwhile for an early learning environment that’s calm, nurturing and genuinely different in its approach.
We care for children from six weeks to five years in four age-based rooms. Our youngest begin in the Nido room (0–2 years) with gentle, responsive care, then progress through the Toddler room (2–3 years) and Preschool room (3–4 years), before reaching the Kindy and School Readiness room (4–5 years), where we focus on the confidence and skills children need for a smooth start to school.
Our program is grounded in Montessori principles and aligned with the national EYLF. Rather than a rigid timetable, our educators follow each child — observing their interests, preparing hands-on materials, and offering freedom within a consistent, secure structure. Children learn to focus, to care for their environment and each other, and to do things for themselves with real pride.
We keep Old Bar parents connected to their child’s day through OWNA documentation, sharing milestones and moments as they happen. We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
